STYL is honoured to contribute to Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative with the design and creation of a first-ever integrated e-Kiosk and ad-hoc backend payment system for the People’s Association (PA). Built to support the move towards digital payments and empower users with robust, convenient options for self-service, the e-Kiosk helps PA reduce manpower while shortening wait times for those seeking to pay for courses or other activities, especially during peak hours. After studying the PA’s requirements, we built the kiosk and backend server from the ground up, applying our core competencies in engineering, IT, payment and Internet-of-Things technology.
We have taken great strides in our implementation, as of June 2022, there are 85 Active PA e-Kiosks deployed in 83 Community Centres around Singapore. 24 first generation e-Kiosks at 22 CCs and 61 second generation e-Kiosks at 61 CCs. Some notable CCs include Nee Soon Central, The Frontier, Keat Hong, Marymount and Kampong Chai Chee. STYL is committed towards our continued partnership with PA to gather feedback from users in order to continuously improve the system and provide more value to come.
